The Alquity Africa Fund allows an investor to gain exposure to the exciting growth potential of the African continent targeting a return of 15% p.a. The fund invests in equities/stocks quoted on African stock exchanges, as well as selected stocks quoted outside Africa that earn the majority of their income or profit from their African operations. Of particular note is that Alquity is a signatory to the UN Principles of Responsible Investment and, uniquely amongst investment managers, have committed to donate a minimum of 25% of its fund management fees to support microfinance initiatives in Africa in order to create employment opportunities and development in local communities.
